OUR FACILITIES
LIVING AT CASA CLU
Our volunteers engage in a range of meaningful tasks related to the maintenance and operation of our off-the-grid space. From tending to gardens to assisting with construction projects and maintaining the community atmosphere, living at Casa Clu reflects our sustainable nature.
- We have a dedicated cabine for volunteers to experience local life.
- It offers rustic beds (2 x twin beds), clean sheets (washed every two weeks) and blankets, together with mosquito nets.
- The room includes light and some shelf space.
- The cabin size is ~ 12m²
- Shared kitchen (with a 4-burner stovetop, a fridge, kitchen utilities including plates, bowls, cups, utensils, cutlery and cookware, drinking water station, storage, and outdoor seatings)
- We have shared toilets and shower (we have running water but use bucket showers and bucket to flush the toilet)
- We do not have WiFi on the property, but the cellphones can get a 4G speed connection to internet (with Telcel provider only).

As we strongly believe in the power of community, co-creation, and collective intelligence, we encourage all of our community members to share their passions, knowledge, and gifts with the community.
Organic Farming
Do you have experience in creating infrastructure for productive farms? Experience in composting & soil health, crop colutivation, irrigation, animal care, harvesting and general maintenance is welcome as we grow our little farm.
Administration & Fundraising
Help create fundraising strategies and refine our administrative proccesses. Bring your past experience in other fields to help grow the coordination power of Casa Clu.
Architecture & Industrial Design
Keep building the eco park inside of Casa Clu using natural materials and recycle materials for the extension of our faciltiies.

Teaching, Language Exchange, & Art
Create methods to teach kids how to read and write, basic mathematics, and general culture through games. Those with backgrounds in psychology are welcomed to help teach the kids how to better understand their own emotions.
Media & Communications
We're always looking for people well-versed in photography, videographer, graphic design, and social media to help expand our reach on the web.

OUR VOLUNTEER NETWORK
Workaway is a platform that allows it's members to arrange homestays and cultural exchange. Volunteers or "Workawayers", are expected to contribute a pre-agreed amount of time per day in exchange for lodging and food, which is provided by their host
Our Workaway program goes beyond just volunteering. It's about fostering meaningful connections with people from all walks of life. By living and working alongside locals, you'll gain a deeper understanding of their realities, challenges, and aspirations. Through these exchanges, you'll broaden your horizons, challenge preconceptions, and build lifelong friendships.
